After A Long Day (Closed)

It had been a long day at Junes, but Yosuke had gotten off a little early due to getting everything he needed to get done for the day. It had been exhausting, but he isn't complaining about being able to come home a few hours earlier than normal. He'd left some other boxes around after he'd moved in with Yu- things were going relatively smoothly now and he was becoming more and more comfortable with himself and his new boyfriend. He set some tea on the stove, preparing it for when he expected his partner to return home from working with the kids. He's sure Yu would appreciate that, and thankfully it finishes about five minutes before Yu would walk through the front door.

Yosuke sits on the couch, sipping some of it himself when he hears the door open. Looks like Yu was home.

"Hey, partner! How was...uh..."

His voice stops short. Yu didn't look so good...

"Right!" That's a relief. If Yu is okay with it, then he's got nothing to worry about. See, that wasn't so bad.

"Let's go chill on the bed or something, I don't think I wanna sit on the couch for a while." He speaks hurriedly, still nervous about bringing it up. Either way, he's going to try to usher Yu into the bedroom, grabbing his arm and tugging lightly to get him to come with so they can flop on the bed together. Maybe turn on the TV in there, anything to make it feel less awkward.

"Why not on couch? I have very fond memories of that place. It's my favorite." Yu can't help but tease him a bit as he lets Yosuke tug him towards the bedroom. Yu doesn't feels awkward, he feels elated and he wants to hug Yosuke and never let go of him if that's possible.

He plops down on the bed and shifts backwards and pulls Yosuke on it afterwards, smiling. "Bed is good as well. I have no complaints."

"Uh, yeah bro, if you want to sit in that, you go right ahead." He makes his disgust in sitting in their own juices clear, settling up right next to Yu and leaning against the headboard with a sigh. After only a moment of getting comfortable on the bed, his shoulders relax as he glances over, nudging him.

"Hey, you feeling any better now?" Today was a long day for Yu. He was hoping this really cheered him up, even though it seems that it had.

"Hmm the couch is not dirty, our clothes were." Or at least he hopes it's not dirty. Much. If it is, he'll clean it tomorrow and it will sparkle.

He moves so that he's sitting next to him, his head now resting on Yosuke's shoulder. He passes him the remote from the night stand. "Mmm. A lot better." He smiles. "You always make me feel better."

Taking the remote, he smiles warmly back. The TV is turned on, and he lets it sit on whatever channel they'd left it on from last night, a commercial playing that's easily ignored.

"That's my partner," he says as he wraps an arm around Yu. He's glad that he felt better. "You know, I was finally thinking about...you know. Telling my parents about this." He hasn't told them about them being an item yet.

Yu looks up at him, slightly surprised. "Really?" He remembers that Yosuke mentioned being slightly anxious about confessing to his parents and friends. "You know I will always support you in whatever you decide to do, right? I can even come with you if you want." Although he wonders if his company will make Yosuke more nervous.

[punchesyu]

"Actually," he says, letting his voice trail off for a moment.

"I was kinda gunna ask you if you could. You know, cuz I think they'd wanna talk to you and stuff so it's not so awkward later. You cool to do that?" He asks nervously, because it's another big step in their relationship for him. Coming out; that's an insecurity he's been fighting with for a little bit now.

Yu smiles:"Of course. I thought you might wanted some alone time with them, but if you want me to come, you know I will." He leans up to press lips against Yosuke's for a brief second before settling back down. He'd do anything to make Yosuke be happy.

[punchesyu]

The gatitude he felt definitely showed on his face- it was more than helpful to know that he'd be getting support right then and there. It was a frightening thing to do, but he feels like with Yu there, he could get through it and be okay.

"Thanks, I really owe you." He scrunches up tighter against Yu, letting his head fall onto the other's chest. "I feel like I could get through anything life throws at me with you around."

Yu laughs softly, both of his hands now wrapped around Yosuke when his head leans on his chest. "There's nothing you owe me." He smiles:"I'm glad I can make you feel that way." He's always going to be there for Yosuke, whenever he needs him.

[punchesyu]

He lets his hand come up to rest on Yu's chest as well, his finger idly drawing circles as he lies there in silence for a second to appreciate him. Looking upwards, he smiles warmly and says, "I never thought a few years ago I'd end up here. You know, next to you like this."

Shifting, he struggles with more words, trying to avoid making the conversation uncomfortable for Yu, but mostly himself.

"I'm just glad....glad we're together. I don't know what I was thinking, chasing girls all the time."

Yu runs fingers through Yosuke's hair, still with a small smile on his face. It's true, Yu didn't expect to end up here, like this, hugging Yosuke, being able to shower him with love. He's lucky, really lucky to have him.

"I chased girls with you, remember?" The 'close up and personal plan'. Poor bike. "Don't bother yourself with thoughts like that and focus on present. Past doesn't matter anymore." Not to them and their relationship.

[punchesyu]

"Yeah, you're right. It's totally in the past now." He picks the remote up now, flipping through channels. "What a poor couple of saps we were! Man."

He finally settles on a channel. It's some dumb game show, but the host was a well known comedian, so he figures this would be good.

"Heheh, you know what. I wonder what Rise-chan's gunna say. I can see the look on her face now!"

Yu feels a bit of dread coming over him- girls... "Ah.. she might get shocked, appalled then angry and accuse you for stealing me away." But it sounds interesting- it's been a while since Yu saw get in trouble with a girl.

"Can't blame her though. You did steal something from me." He looks down at him with cheeky smile and Yosuke should know he's going to say something sappy. "My heart."

"Bro, that is like the lamest thing you coulda said," he says as he sighs. But even as sappy as it is, it still gets him to lean up and give Yu a nice, soft kiss on the lips. He holds it for a few seconds, firm and filled with love, but it doesn't stop him from pretending to be exasperated with the response.

"Just...do I have to be there when you tell her? I can already hear that horrible shriek!"

Yu smiles through kiss- he likes saying sappy stuff to Yosuke. His reactions are always interesting.

"Hmm... I'd be afraid more of Chie than Rise..." Yu gives Yosuke significant stare. There's always a topic between these two to argue about and Chie would be all up in Yosuke's business about this.

[punchesyu]

He huffs, souring at the idea of what Chie was going to say when she found out.

"Yeah, I can hear it now." And in his best imitation of Chie's voice, he starts to mock her:

"Yosuke, I can't believe you you stinking perv! You always freaked out and now you're dating Narukami???? Eeeeeehhhhhhhh!" He sighs, not wanting to think on it much.

Yu chuckles. That's how Chie would react. Yosuke's pretty good at imitating her too.

"You're my perv." They are both pervs- back then and now.

[punchesyu]

"C'mon," he responds, a little embarrassed. "You're just trying to get me all worked up."

He's been called a pervert before, plenty of times- but it's different when Yu says it like that. He curls up into himself a little, staring at the TV, not that he found what was on very interesting.

"I'm a pervert too, you know." He chuckles and wraps both hands around Yosuke- don't get curled up like that, it makes him sad. "Can you imagine how long I fantasized about what we did earlier on the couch?" He just doesn't speak of it, but he's there on the pervert scale with him.

[punchesyu]

"You too?" It shoots out of his mouth, looking up in surprise. It shouldn't be a surprise, but it's one thing to think it and another to hear it confirmed.

"Crap!" He hadn't meant to say that, and he realizes how it sounds...

Yu's eyebrows shot up- he should be one saying that.

"Yes. I know it's inappropriate, but when students are doing tests, countless of times my mind wandered to that."

[punchesyu]

Yosuke isn't entirely sure how to feel about that. It's not like he's never fantasized about a hot girl back in high school during class, but it's weird to hear that the teacher was doing it, even if it is Yu.

"Wooo, never knew you were such a horndog, partner..." He says in jest, because it's still cute that he's being thought about even while Yu is at school teaching, and he appreciates it. "You're not gunna let it slip to the whole class on accident one day, are you? Give it the good 'ol Freudian slip?" He laughs, poking fun. And proud of himself that he remembered that from school.

Yu laughs himself:"No Yosuke, there won't be any slips. As for the horndog part, I don't know. The thoughts wander to simple stuff about you, like what are you doing and if Junes is boring to you like the tests are to me. And then it just... escalates from there."

[punchesyu]

He laughs nervously, cuddling up a little closer. "I guess that makes two of us..." He hadn't wanted to admit it right out, but since Yu was sharing, he felt a little better about it.

"It really is boring at work sometimes, and it sucks that I'm stuck at work and you're teaching. All I wanna do some days is just stay at home with you."
