After A Long Day (Closed)

It had been a long day at Junes, but Yosuke had gotten off a little early due to getting everything he needed to get done for the day. It had been exhausting, but he isn't complaining about being able to come home a few hours earlier than normal. He'd left some other boxes around after he'd moved in with Yu- things were going relatively smoothly now and he was becoming more and more comfortable with himself and his new boyfriend. He set some tea on the stove, preparing it for when he expected his partner to return home from working with the kids. He's sure Yu would appreciate that, and thankfully it finishes about five minutes before Yu would walk through the front door.

Yosuke sits on the couch, sipping some of it himself when he hears the door open. Looks like Yu was home.

"Hey, partner! How was...uh..."

His voice stops short. Yu didn't look so good...

Yu loves kids. Well, loves being a stretch here, but he doesn't mind them. Nanako was amazing as kid and he met few others that he really liked. However... not all kids are nice. And he experienced that fact today. Coffee ended up on his pants and orange juice on his jacket, he had to split up a fight and was yelled at by one mother (because he 'undeservedly' reprimanded her child). All of that happened in these six hours of work he had today.

When he entered his home, he looked like train wreck, full of coffee and juice stains, hair sticking every which way and look on face as if his whole family died. He dropped the bag by the door and went to the living room.

"...........I'm home."

That can never be good. The entire room seemed to come down with Yu's emotional state, and he can only manage to look at him in bewilderment at what happened that was that bad. How the stains got there, how Yu was even alive right now. He gently responds, unsure about how to go about this at first without possibly making it worse.

"Uh, yeah...you look like a total wreck..." Well, that attempt at not making it worse fell through the floor didn't it.

Yu knows very well that his shitty day wasn't Yosuke's fault so he's not about to be grumpy at him. He shrugs off his jacket and walks over to him, kissing his forehead. Yosuke's voice is always feels soothing to him.

"We had bad days before, when all the investigation was going on with shadows and personas," Yu grumbles, "well... this was worse." His forehead was leaned against Yosuke's as he speaks- he wishes he could just plop down and cuddle Yosuke for two days.

His eyes close briefly when the kiss is planted, then open again to look up at Yu with worried eyes. What could be worse than the investiga- oh. Well, he'll take his word for it on that one. He did look awful, and his hand comes up to ruffle Yu's hair a little bit in comfort.

"Man, I can't imagine something being worse than that. No offense or anything but...I don't want to touch you till you take a shower. I think you need it. We can talk about it after, kay?"

Trying to get him clean, he knows that just showering and getting the filth off of him and into fresh clothes will make him feel better.

Now he feels like a kid after being petted. But he doesn't mind it.

"Yeah, yeah, I know." Yu makes displeased grumble at being shooed off to the bathroom... so he steals a peck before he leaves. A shower sounds like a great idea right now. What troubles him the most is being yelled at from that mother.

He takes a bit longer shower, getting lost in his thoughts for a while, but eventually he returns to the living in clean, comfy clothes and plops on the couch. After several minutes of silence he speaks up:"I think I'm a bad teacher."

While he's in the bathroom, he pours some of the tea for Yu, setting it on the coffee table. He tries to time it so it's drinkable by the time he gets out of the shower, but still hot. He looks up when Yu returns, smiling and patting the seat next to him as he plops himself down on the couch. He sips his tea again, letting the other man just relax- he needed it, that was for certain.

He doesn't say anything, he only sets his cup down and wraps an arm around his shoulder and pulls Yu in. Breathe, buddy.

And then- what?

"What the hell, a bad teacher? What gave you that idea?"

He lets Yosuke to maneuver him to lean at him, bringing his legs up and placing his head on Yosuke's shoulder. The warmth that radiates from Yosuke is so comforting that he could fall asleep like this. But there's just too much things buzzing in his head that he can't even think of resting.

"Well kids I teach don't like me. When I spilled my coffee they saw how annoyed I was and then spilled juice on top of it," he grumbles. "Then fight happened at recess, I pulled the kids apart and reprimanded them for starting it. However..." a scowl, "parents didn't like me scolding their children like that and I was yelled at."

He sighs again, closing his eyes:"Now I keep wondering if I did something wrong or if I am not cut out to do this. I mean, parent said she doesn't want me teaching her child anymore."

He listens with concern, feeling bad for Yu due to the awful day, and also silently thanking someone that he didn't have to suffer through a day like that. Yosuke would be pissed after a day like that- he has to give Yu a lot of credit to be able to keep his cool for the most part after suffering through that. Though the way he's dealing with it, instead of raging and yelling, was being a little depressed, and that was saddening enough on its own.

"No way. Everyone has their off days man, and some of those kids are little shits. You can't let yourself think like that after one bad day. You did exactly what you needed to do. That lady can deal, you know how moms are about their kids. They're totally rabid! It's not cuz of anything you did. You're a great teacher. Who helped tutor me when I was failing it big time in some of my subjects, huh?"

Maybe she should teach her kid manners!

Yu sighs, letting the warmth and sound of Yosuke's voice calm him down. He's right, Yu knows that, but still, it can't chase away this bad feeling that's been hanging over his head.

He grumbles:"Yes, but if they complain to Headmaster and Dean about me, I will be in big trouble." Pause. "And Dean is worse than Mr. Morooka. The guy can scare death right out of its shoes." And Yu doesn't want any trouble with him- not now, not ever.

Yu looks up and gives Yosuke a small smile:"Thanks though," he nuzzles his face against Yosuke's neck,"if I didn't come to you, today would've driven me nuts."

He grimaces at the idea of someone being worse than King Moron. Sad that the guy had to go out the way he did, but...the last thing anyone needed was an incarnation of him. It's as if his face is saying those exact words, but relaxes again when Yu looks at him in the way he does. He breathes out, letting his own head fall on top of Yu's as his shoulders loosen and pulls him in closer.

"That's what I'm here for dude," he says softly, "and don't ever forget that." He knows Yu won't, but Yosuke will say it anyway. "I'm sorry you had a bad day. You can just think of ways to be ready for that crap next time though. You know what might help when those kids are being rowdy? Have like, a phrase that when you say it, they have a response back. Like, "Hey class!" And they go, "Hey teacher!" Or something dumb like that. Maybe that'll get 'em to stop."

"Never." There's a slow chuckle, "You really are a magician." Foul mood is almost gone. And you could fall asleep like this. But he wants to talk to Yosuke, a lot. He sees him only in the evening like this so, while nap is inviting, spending time with Yosuke is way more important.

"Hmm... Do you think that if I threaten them with extra tests in calculus they will be calmer?" Kids hate calculus tests. Getting additional tests from class they hate is something they don't want, right?

He seems to grin widely at being called the magician, knowing full well what that meant- and thinks on the subject that Yu's going along. Kids do hate calculus, and considering he hated algebra and that wasn't even that hard, he can't imagine having more tests in calculus would do to someone.

"H-Hey, let's not go too overboard with things, partner. You don't want to try and kill them, just get 'em to stop acting like a bunch of brats."

Yu smiles widely as well and leans up to press short kiss on Yosuke's lips. He tries to keep innocent expression on his face: "Desperate times call for desperate measures. They'll have to pick- either calculus or to act properly. I am teacher, I have right to give tests whenever it suits me."

"Man, I'd hate to be in your class-!" Thankfully he's already graduated, just thinking about calculus like that is hurting his very soul. He could already feel his grades slipping away at the idea. And soon after, he would be dead. He nuzzles Yu back, the kiss leaving a nice tingling feeling on his lips.

"Go a little easy on them. It'll look really bad if they fail all the time, haha."

"Why? I am a really nice teacher." Read between the lines Yosuke. That cheeky grin should help you out as well. Yu's not being very subtle about it.

"They will look bad, not me. I already know calculus," but he does agree with Yosuke to some extent. He doesn't want to be known as a ruthless teacher.

"Huh...?" He looks at Yu, eyes wide. Yeah he was a nice guy and all what did he mean by...? Oh. He can feel his cheeks getting red when it clicks into place.

"W-Why are you looking at me like that, bro?"

It seems that Yosuke's slowly catching up with the implications. That blush is saying things.

"Oh, nothing much. I just remembered you were wearing girls uniform once." A smile, "It was very cute on you."

"Yeah, no. I looked like a total jackass in that thing." It was the most embarrassing thing ever and he doesn't want to remember that ever happened. Ever.

"You're just saying that because you like me in anything. What are you up to." His voice, there's gotta be more to it. He peers at Yu, wondering.

"I think it was totally cute. Especially the tail you had on top of your head. The strawberry clips, right?" He can never forget the strawberry clips.

"Me? Oh I'm just imagining you in school and me being your teacher and teaching you stuff.. on the desk," he answers casually, as if he says this every day.

His face flushes an even brighter red now. It's totally embarrassing to think about, but at the same time. He's got that image of himself and Yu doing something dirty in his head, and it would be a lie to say that that flustered him a bit in a different sense too.

"Stop that, dammit! That's making me all excited." He looks angry, and part of him is- but the other part would just prefer to shut him up by sealing the sound away with a kiss. Which he might end up doing if Yu pushes it.

He's had that image himself multiple times on random ocassions when his brain drifts off to Yosuke.

"Excited? Why Yosuke, what are you thinking about?" He's trying to play all innocent here as he shifts and lays completely on the couch, head in Yosuke's lap. He smiles up at him. "But that's good, I love when I get you excited~"

Yosuke has to take a deep breath, trying to not let himself get too far out of hand.

"I know exactly what you're doing, and it's not working this time." Last time Yu got him really good, but this time! This time he wouldn't let him. Even if it's only a failing battle on Yosuke's part.

"Quit using that voice..."

"No? Hmm... your face says otherwise," Yu reaches out to brush fingers against Yosuke's jaw and then drops it down. "But it's okay," he shifts to wrap both of his hands around Yosuke's middle and buries his face there, like a cat, asking for cuddles. You can hear a clear pout in his voice now, "But you like when I use that voice. You get all shy."

The gentle touch makes his skin prickle and he slowly shakes his head in only the subtlest motion. Yu was turning him on and he loved it and hated it all at the same time.

"No, you just like it when I get all shy, jerk off," he says as he runs his hands through Yu's hair. He can't even get at his mouth now, how is this fair at all? "How long are you gunna hide down there?" He wants him to come up, so he can kiss him, but he can't when he's coiled around his middle like that.

Well, he can't deny that, so Yu just smiles. He does that a lot around Yosuke, it's a strange thing. Just seeing Yosuke makes him smile and feel better. It's crazy how much he's fallen in love with him.

"Not long," he mumbles and then few seconds later he pulls away and lies back on Yosuke's lap properly. "Kiss me, I need energy recharge." For an adult and teacher, he sure acts like a kid.
