how could i ever forget // outside the morning was cool and wet

[It's not often Ajax finds himself getting his head slammed down onto the hood of a car, least of all a cop car. Usually it's him doing the slamming.

But today the young man finds himself denting the hood, the sound of metal caving in under his head ringing in his ears. Not exactly the ideal situation he was hoping for, but he figured sooner or later he'd have a run in with the cops due to the sensitive nature of his profession, but that doesn't mean he has to like how inconsiderate they are with him as they cuff him and throw him in the back of the paddy wagon. Not that he was considerate to them when he was discovered, as evidenced by the blood all over his clothing and knuckles from the fight he'd gotten into with them. How he managed to avoid getting shot is beyond him- plenty of shots were fired, but that hadn't stopped him from knocking a few of them out.

It's just too bad he'd been instructed that he couldn't kill anyone, or else he'd of gotten out of there without being caught.

The lights of the police station are bright, almost too bright from the contrast of how dark it was outside. Ajax squints as he's dragged inside, held tightly by two cops who hurry him through the station, but not fast enough that he doesn't catch a glimpse of the secretary behind the desk as they come in. Pretty, blonde, looking like she'd rather be anywhere else. Gorgeous eyes, ones that catch his attention almost immediately as he's being shoved towards the back, shining with a radiance that captures him instantly. His eyes lock with hers, feeling something silent yet powerful surge through him from this tiny, insignificant interaction. He doesn't even have a moment to think further on it, before he's so rudely interrupted.

Get moving.

The curt voice of the bigger cop on his right cuts through the moment, anger welling up in Ajax's chest and something dark stirs in his core. If he wasn't cuffed and being restrained, he'd turn that guy's face into a new work of art, something so abstract some insane art collector would gladly pay millions for it.

No sooner had Ajax been ushered in, he disappears from sight as he's taken back into an interrogation room, the mysterious blonde no longer in his sights, now getting shoved into a corner of a room.]

What's with this? Don't you even have the courtesy of giving me a chair to sit in, at least?

[From outside of the room, muffled noises of a scuffle as the cops lay into Ajax can be heard, the loudest of which is a thud of a body slamming into a wall, accompanied by a groan from the ginger kid. Though little do any of them know, their real problems haven't arrived just yet, waking from their slumber right outside of the city...]

[Look at this smarmy woman sitting next to him! Ajax gets all huffy at her now, folding his arms over his chest as he glares at her. Thumbsing up the fish as if it actually cares about any of this at all, he can't believe this...]

Hah! And you think playing dirty is worthy of celebration? Only cowards rely on contemptible and unscrupulous methods to win. Had the battle continued without such an interruption, who knows what the outcome would have been?

[He's a little butthurt it's true, but only cuz she wiped it in his face a little bit. And there is just something about the smash ball that gets up his butt a little bit, since it seems you can win just by getting it without any show of skill whatsoever.]

I bet you couldn't beat me without those items.

[And in all of his bratty pettiness, he sticks his tongue out at her- thpppppppppppppppppppp.]

[ How delicious. Yoimiya is absolutely slurping up every bit of Ajax's petulant attitude. He sounds like the biggest sore loser and she's having a blast hearing him come up with every reason in the book why she doesn't deserve the win. ]

Get a load of this guy, Hanabi. Sounds like we have a sore loser in the house, don't we?

[ As per usual, Hanabi continues to totally get involved, by swimming in her tank without a care in the world. If she could have a reaction, she'd be rolling her fish eyes at how childish both of them are acting and instead of playing that stupid game, they should be paying attention to her, the all-mighty Queen of the apartment. It's Hanabi's world and we're all just living in it.

But alas, the woes of a fish unable to voice her opinion.

AND JUST FOR GOOD MEASURE, Yoimiya also gives him a nasty raspberry— BLEEEEEEEEEH and to add insult to injury, she even pulls one of her eyelids down as a declaration of war. ]

You're only saying that because you don't know how to use those items. [ a beat ] Stinky Smelly Ajax.

[Using her fish to call him names and act like it wasn't practically cheating, the nerve. Hanabi didn't ask to get involved in their fight, maybe he should protect her honor by making Yoimiya pay for her words. Ajax's face scrunches up in offense to her own face. That's it. It's on. This fight will go on outside of the game too now!]

I shouldn't have to use them. They're a handicap for less skilled players, and you know it.

[He leans forward to put his face right in hers, mouth upturned.]

Big Bratty Yoimiya.

[ Big Bratty Yoimiya? Rude. And he even has the audacity to get in her bubble and stick his face right in hers. Ooooh, she ain't about to take that one sitting down. No sir.

She furrows her eyebrows, discarding the joycon so she can return his challenge by sticking her right up in his. If he wants a fight outside of the game, a fight he shall receive. Their faces are so close that their noses are practically touching but Yoimiya isn't about to back down. ]

Why would it be cheating if the items are a mechanic in the game? You're just acting like a huge baby because you know you'll never be as skilled as me.

[ If possible, fireworks would be shooting out from their eyes from the explosive tension in the air. And then to add insult to injury, she lifts her hand to poke him right in the chest, jabbing him as she enunciates every word of her petty insult. ]

Sore. [ poke ] Loser. [ poke poke ] Baby. [ pooooooke ] Ajax.

[Ajax has never really been one to be into video games much. They looked intriguing, but his work and his other interests always too precedence over something like sitting in front of the TV playing games. He lets his siblings do that and show him when they're particularly proud or want him to see something they can do, and he supports them in turn.

But now, now he's going to get so good at this Smash game that he'll make Yoimiya wish she never even suggested playing it in the first place.

Every poke to his chest makes that fire inside of him burn brighter and hotter until it reaches a fever pitch that he can barely control. All he wants to do is sit down, practice, and annihilate her the next time they play. The look on her face would be delicious, and he'll drink it up until kingdom come. He might be a sore loser but she's being a smug sore winner in his opinion.]

You'll come to regret those words, [he growls, hand coming up to reach for hers so he can stop her from poking him in the chest anymore.]

Seems to me like you can only win against a newbie...how pitiful. A shallow victory indeed. But once I smear you all over the floor, you won't be so smug, Big. Bully. Yoimiya.

[ This guy is starting to get on her nerves...

Never before has Yoimiya seen a bigger sore loser than Mr. Ginger Baby over here. Every taunt, every petty little quip adds fuel to the everlasting flame burning inside her. It's rare for the peppy blonde to get this bent out of shape but Ajax sure knows how to press her buttons. Bit by bit, she feels her temper cranking to the hottest degree and threatening to spill over the longer she listens to him.

Finally, something within her snaps. There's an eerie silence surrounding her until she looks up with death written all over her face. ]

How about I smear you all over the floor, right now?!

[ And without another word, Yoimiya suddenly tackles the big ol' baby onto the couch. He might be a great deal taller than her but this smol blonde is scrappy as she attempts to pin him down and grab his arm. ]

We're no longer playing a video game, we're playing the real Super Smash Brothers!!!

[ If only she had a paper fan to smack him with. ]

[He can tell he's really grinding her gears. Ruffling her feathers. And there's nothing more satisfying to see her look up at him with a look of pure murder written all over it. He doesn't know what kind of fight is about to erupt out of this, but he feels like it's gunna be good given that Yoimiya has a bit of a competitive streak to her.

And with that, he goes from being totally upright to completely horizontal as she tackles him down onto the sofa and starts trying to pin him to it.]

Hey-! You wanna go, Yoimiya?!

[Naturally, Ajax isn't going to back down from a real fight, either. Gritting his teeth, he fights back to keep her from pinning his arm to the couch, trying to grab her around her middle to push her back so he can pin her to the couch instead.]

[ If Super Smash Brothers is causing this much of a fight, can't imagine how it will be with Mario Party............ stares into the sun

But regardless, Yoimiya is deadset on not beating Ajax solely in the game but in real life too. His sore loser attitude has been kind of ticking her off and in her mind, he deserves to be knocked down a peg or two. ]

This is what you wanted, right? A fight, right?! Well, bring it on, Smelly Ajax!

[ Unfortunately for her, Ajax has an insane height advantage over her short self, and it's no surprise he can wrap his arm around her torso. But two can play that game! While Yoimiya fights to grab his arm, she hooks one her legs around his to prevent the tides from being turned against her. ]

[Omg do not let them play Mario Party alsdjfl;dfjas;ldfj]

Bring it! I can take you!!!

[In a fight, right?

This fight isn't going as well as he thought it would. She's anchored herself to him and he can't quite get her off of him without seriously hurting her, so he's got to try something else. Ajax begins to rock to the side, using his weight to shift the two of them close to the edge of the couch, threatening to make them both tumble off of it onto the floor.]

Off! Get off me!

[ Oh, she can definitely take him on in other ways....... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

If she wasn't in the middle of a no-holds-barred fight, she might have actually made a perverted comment but right now, Yoimiya is so focused on teaching this baby ginger a lesson. Unfortunately for her, it's a bit difficult for her small self to fight a giant rocking back and forth, forcing her body to roll alongside him. She grits her teeth as she feels her grip around his arm slowly loosening but no matter, the big brat is determined to fight till the bitter end. ]

Ngh—! No way! If I'm going down I'm taking you with me.

[ Through sheer determination, she fights back with one hand pinned to the couch, the other attempting to grab his shoulders, and their legs firmly locked together, determined to cling to him like a koala. It's clear what her intentions are; she's not about to go down alone. ]

[He continues to rock back and forth, with more and more momentum building up to the point where they teeter on the edge for a second before rocking back onto the couch. But he doesn't stop, even when she clings to him desperately. He doesn't think she's calling his bluff- he thinks she's prepared completely to go over the edge and onto the floor along with him. So, there's clearly only one avenue he can go-]

Suit yourself!

[He throws as much of himself into this last rocking motion as he can, his core twisting to give them both enough momentum that they come to the edge of the couch one last time and topple over it. He clings to Yoimiya just as much as she's clinging to him, falling the short distance to the floor and hitting it with a soft thump.

Unfortunately for Yoimiya, physics would determine that the person on the bottom of the two-person pile is her.]

Heheheheh...

[He laughs while staring down at her, having turned the tables for the moment!]

[ He's just as crazy as she is, so it's not at all surprising he takes her taunt and rolls with it (literally). As expected, he teeters not just her but both of them off the couch. One minute Yoimiya is above the ground attempting to hoist his arms above his head and the next, they're both on the floor of her apartment and unfortunately for her, she's the one on the bottom, locking stares with the man who has a clear upper hand over ]

Grrr..... don't think you've won just yet!

[ She puffs out her cheeks at him, determined to keep on fighting till the bitter end, ain't no way she can let him win after hearing that goofy laugh of his. Her grip on him has loosened since falling onto the floor but no matter, she takes advantage of his dumb staring by poking one hand underneath his armpit and the other into the side of his belly and begins to run her fingers all across any sensitive spots, praying to all the deities that he's ticklish somewhere. ]

Your resistance is admirable...ah!!!!

[He feels her hands leave his shoulder and arm to searching and feeling his sides and armpit. Ajax understands exactly what she's doing, looking to see if he's ticklish so she can get him to release her and give her more leeway to gain the upper hand. His armpit shows no sensitivity, but when she lets her fingers spider over his sides and belly, he flinches. And then he flinches again. And again. And again.

It's too much. It's sending electric shocks through his body and he fights with all his might to keep back his laughter, biting his lip so he doesn't lose it completely. He sits down right on her hips, straddling her and trying to grab for her arms to get her to stop, but the tickling has made his own arms weak.]

H-Hey! Haaaa...hey!!!!! Stop....s-stop it...

[Noooooooo]

[ As soon as she feels him flinching underneath her touch, Yoimiya knows she's done it. There it is, she's found his weak spots; his sides and belly. Oh, she is absolutely keeping this in her back pocket for later. For now, she shows no mercy as she continues to poke at his sensitive sides over and over and over again.

Her legs might be useless for the time being but if she keeps this up, feels like she'll be able to turn the tides against him and pin this sucker down on the ground for good. Yoimiya is determined to become the Super Smash Brother........ sister. Whatever. ]

Awwwww, is baby Ajax ticklish? Coochie coochie coo!

[ This little imp is all too happy to continue her relentless assault as she keeps both hands on his stomach and sides. ]

Hehehehe how do you like my special move? I call it the Super Ultra Yoitickle attack.

[ All she does is add her name in front of stuff. ]

No! Ahahaha, you can't...! S-Stop! Yoimiya!!!!!!

[His body twitches and convulses from the tickling she's administering, no longer able to hold back his laughter nor counter her insult. He only has a few choices, either get off of her completely to get away or smush her and hold on by lying straight down on top of her. One is defeat- the other is opening himself to a relentless attack of her tickling him until he asphyxiates from laughing so hard.]

That's!!!! Hahahahahahaha!!!! Th-that's! Ahaha....such a dumb....AHAHAHAHA!!! Stop! Such a dumb!!! Hahahahahaha name!!!

[He refuses to give up, choosing to lie down and suffer than to let her get him off of her. Slipping his arms under her back, he hold on for dear life as she tickles him, burying his face in her chest and squeezing his eyes shut as he just takes it.]

I won't let! Y-You win! AAAAAAHAHHAHAAA AHHHHHHHH!!!!

[Super Ultra Yoitickle Attack was super effective!]

[ And with that, Yoimiya senses she's got this in the bag. He lays down and gets his fate sealed right then and there. She might be unable to move with that giant on top of her but she's given plenty of access to his stomach and sides. And since he had the audacity to call her special name DUMB, she's burning with determination to make him regret those words.

It's Yoiver for Ajax as she continues her barrage of tickles. She pokes and prods at his sides, laughing along with him as he tries to fight back but to no avail. If he wants to keep himself on top of her, that's perfectly fine. It's his funeral, he's going to die laughing at this rate unless he stops her. ]

Nyahahahahaha....!!! [ What's with that stupid laugh??? ] I'm afraid it's too late for you, Ajax. Laying on top of me is only going to make things worse! Just give up, proclaim my victory, and your suffering will be over.

[As expected, her relentless attack continues, his sides completely vulnerable and unable to be protected at all. He laughs so hard that his diaphragm hurts, wondering now if maybe he made a wrong decision to not give up and just lie on top of her. His head nuzzles and rubs against her as he fights his own body's will to let go to make the suffering end, twitching endlessly until he finally breaks.]

No! I can't...!!! Hahahaha!!!! Yoimiya!!!! OKAY, I YIELD! I yield! HAHAHAHA, please, please, I yield!!!!

[Ajax, who can get beaten within an inch of his life, learns that there's one thing he can't handle for all that long and it's a tickle attack. His lungs feel like they're on fire and his body is so weak that he can't even hold onto Yoimiya anymore. Every part of him feels like jelly.]

[ As merciless as she's being, the sound of his laughter is cute, she'll be hearing his guffaws in her dreams for nights on end. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY!!!! The evil has been defeated and Yoimiya is thrilled to see hear him beg for mercy. It's tempting to keep going on for his earlier transgressions but he might pop at this rate. ]

That's right! Hehehehehe, that's what you get for messing with me.

[ Yoimiya lets out a chirpy giggle of her own as he nuzzles his head against her. Now that she's come out the victor, she finally relents, gently flicking him on the forehead. ]

Hope ya learned your lesson!

[It's the most pathetic, whiny "Ow" with as much awkward vibrato as he can add to it when she flicks his forehead. Despite that, he doesn't move an inch, unable to pick himself up off of her just yet due to how weak he was from the ultimate tickle attack. All he can do is sit there and groan, defeated utterly, having learned no lessons other than he has to find a way to protect himself for next time.]

That wasn't very nice, adding insult to injury like that-

[Ajax groans again, trying to catch his breath from all the laughter he just did. Brutal...]

You're not very nice, Yoimiya. [( ｰ̀εｰ́ )]

[ Gods above, she's heard children sound less whiny than this ginger giant. She's so puny compared to him and yet, here he is, lying on top of her whining, groaning, acting like a baby, and looking totally and utterly defeated.

And Yoimiya is absolutely reveling in all of that. ]

Since when did I claim to be nice?

[ She's actually a nice gal, one of the nicest you'll ever meet but there's something about being around Ajax that causes her bratty behavior to emerge and increase tenfold. (It's no secret, they enable each other's dumb.) Seeing him act like this makes her want to bully him even more. ]

You acted like you wanted to fight so I gave you one. Don't act like a baby because you lost to me twice.

[ Maybe Ajax is right, she's not all that nice.......... ]

Yeah, yeah, rub it in, why don't you.

[Groaning again, now he refuses to get up and just lies on her and gets comfortable right where he is. Ajax lets out a giant sigh, deciding to soak up her warmth and pout a little more while he's there.]

I may of lost, but I also gained something in the meantime.

[He shifts a little bit again, now pretty comfortable. He's gained...a bed. :)]

[ Oh yeah, she's absolutely soaking in her victory with the biggest shit-eating grin anyone could possibly muster. She hums to herself, absolutely having the time of her life that she bested him not once, but twice during the day. In her mind, it serves him right for all the "jabs" he's made at Hanabi.

But before she gloats even more, his declaration earns him a confused look. Gained something? What does he mean by that...?

As Yoimiya attempts to move, she gets her answer. It's at this moment, she realizes she fucked up by allowing him to stay on top of her. ]

Hey...! I'm not a bed! Get off me you big lug! The floor ain't comfortable!!

[ She attempts to shove him off her but to no avail. :c He's too tall. ]

[Ah, the struggles of a sore winner are delicious. He smiles to himself as he basks in the softness and warmth of Yoimiya, humming happily to himself. Being so much bigger and heavier than her really does have an advantage. ;)]

Hahahaha...my soft, fluffy Yoibed. I couldn't of asked for anything better.

[Ajax makes sure to make all the happiest noises he can muster, nuzzling her, relaxing into her to make sure he functions as a paperweight.]

I could take a nap...

[ Try as she might, Yoimiya's struggles to shove this freaken giant off her are fruitless. How dare he be so tall? Why was she born to be so short?? Why is life so unfair and cruel??? She attempts to push him one last time before she finally gives up, flopping down on the floor with all of her energy sapped.

The ~~evil~~ Yoi has been defeated........

But before she wallows in her loss, she's taken by those adorable noises purring out of his lips, those nuzzles are so sweet with how they hold the power to turn her frown upside down. ]

A Yoibed? What kinda name is that? Hahahaha...!

[ Not that she has any room to talk but still, it's funny to hear him joining in on her silly naming schemes. Now he too has been infected with the Yoi. She giggles as she gives into his might, slinging an arm around him, to the back of his head so she can run her fingers through those soft ginger locks she adores so much. ]

You're so cute it's unfair...

[He'll keep those purrs coming, especially now that she's given in and decided to join him in defeat. Ajax loves how she combs through his hair with her fingers, feeling his hair rise and fall back into place as she cards through it. It feels so nice, he really could take a nap on here if she let him.]

Mmmmmmm, what? I learned it from you...~

[His sleepy response is light and sing-song, happy that she finds him cute. He'll take advantage of his cuteness against her if it means he gets to get pampered by her. Turning his head upwards against her chest, he peeks to get a glimpse of her expression while she threads his hair between her fingers, eyes lidded with bliss.]

That feels nice. Keep doing it please~
