[ Oops, it's just now dawning on her that she probaby looked a little too into eating that piece of straight bloody meat. Might be wise to start holding back. As tempting as it is to lick it, she figures it's wise to grab a napkin and wipe the small splotches of blood staining her lips. ]

Oh, don't worry about it! I'm used to it. We eat raw fish and raw eggs over here all the time.

[ For his sake, she'll try to be more mindful of how she conducts her eating habits. ]

But I promise I'll be more careful. [ Even if she's gonna miss that sweet, sweet blood sobs. ] So, how do you like your meat cooked?

[Somehow, he's not convinced that eating raw fish and raw eggs here is the same as practically eating raw meat. He's aware that the fish gets flash frozen and that the eggs are handled in a way that makes it so you can eat them that way...]

...Uh, well, I'm a fan of the juicer the better.

[But she just definitely took the award for eating the juiciest meat despite the danger to her health??????]

But as long as it tastes good, I'll really eat it any way it's made. I'm guessing you like yours...rare.

[ Uh oh. He's definitely weirded out. Though he probably hasn't figured her game, she still needs to figure out a way to play this off so he doesn't look too deep into it. Ajax definitely strikes her as someone who has some wit to him. ]

You got that right. I'm like you, juicy meat is the best. There's something about pink meat that's just divine. It's soft, tender, and so easy for me to sink my fangs into it. You get the best flavor out of rare meat when it's nice and bloody...

[ NOTHING SUSPICIOUS ABOUT THAT AT ALL. ]

Hehe, sorry, sorry! I know I sounded like a complete and total weirdo there. But you know what, I might have pulled it out a little too early. I promise I'll ensure it's a little more well done.

[YOIMIYA YOU ARE NOT MAKING HIM FEEL BETTER ABOUT THIS AT ALL

Ajax is still a bit worried that she might get sick from eating such uncooked meat, but it's probably better to not worry about it now. Not like they can do much about it, and he's not about to suggest she go to the bathroom and "take care of it" or something. He just met her yesterday...

So, he offers a small smile and tries to look a bit happier and not totally weirded out.]

Haha, alright, as long as you promise. Don't hesitate to tell me if you're not feeling well, though.

[And he'll leave it at that. Man, who knew Yoimiya was such an apex predator?

It's then their waiter arrives back with the sake Yoimiya ordered, setting two smaller cups down along with a larger flask for the two of them. Ajax nods to them in appreciation, before taking the flask and pouring some sake into the cup.]

Now here's something I could really go for.

[He drinks it with no issue, all in one gulp, setting it down with satisfaction. The warm sake felt nice on his throat.]

[ Awwww, that's sweet he's so concerned about her... ahem, unusual tastes in meat. She just smiles back at him, trying her best to move on and not draw too much attention to the fact she just straight up ate meat raw.

And thankfully, the waiter bringing their sake is the perfect distraction from Yoimiya being weird. She gives the waiter her thanks and once Ajax has his fill, she pours her own cup. Like a true Inazuman, she doesn't immediately down it, preferring to take small, slow sips to really savor the flavor. Her eyes dart over to Ajax, amused that his cup is already empty. Boy downed that drink so fast that it's impressive. ]

How are you enjoying sake? I know it's not as strong as Fire-Water but it's still pretty good. Not that I'm being biased or anything, hehe.

[ Since the bottle is on her side, she sets her cup down to fill his back up. ]

Honestly, I'm surprised.

[He twirls his cup between his fingers a few times before setting it down and pouring some more sake into it. He's not used to warm alcohol like this, and he has no problem downing it again like it's a shot glass rather than an actual cup that he should be sipping.

It's just...he's used to drinking, so he pours another to let them warm liquid run down the back of his throat.]

The taste is superb, and it really settles nicely in my stomach. Usually, I'm downing shots of Fire-Water quickly, due to how harsh it is...but this is so smooth and welcoming.

[What he doesn't realize that it's so nice that he'll begin to drink too much of it.]

I'm really glad I came to Inazuma. I can't imagine missing out on something like this.

[ It's really amusing to see him downing glass after glass, she's not used to people drinking sake like that. But even though it's different, he describes the taste so perfectly that she can tell he appreciates it like an Inazuman. So! She decides to follow suit, quickly downing another glass of sake along side him. ]

Sounds like you've already fallen in love with our humble island in the ocean.

[ This time, the meat she reaches for is... a bit more cooked. She plucks it with her chopsticks, dips into the sauce, and nibbles. It's not as good without the blood oozing out but she'll be good. For you, Ajax. ]

How long do ya plan on staying in Inazuma?

[Ajax almost forgets there's meat grilling, the scent of it catching his nose and making his mouth water. Since he can't use chopsticks, he gets a hold of a fork and pokes a piece of meat to put it on the little plate in front of him.]

As long as I'm needed. The project is supposed to last quite a while, and until everything is built, I won't be going anywhere.

[Properly stabbing it with his fork now, he eats the juicy meat with a satisfactory smack, before chasing it with another glass of sake. He feels warm, his head light, and happiness fills him as the alcohol begins to take hold.]

Who knows what'll happen after. I might be called back to the motherland, or they may decide that I'm better suited here for the time being. But I wouldn't worry too much about that- we'll have plenty of time to spend together before we need to worry about it.

[ Look at him enjoying the meat with his sacred fork, that has to be the most satisfied smack to grace her ears. Though her body is naturally cold, even she feels a tinge of warmth buzzing in her chest as she watches him eat. He looks like he's on cloud nine while eating, it's hard to believe this is the same man who fought a shark with his bare hands.

After everything that's transpired, it's nice to finally have a peaceful time with him and with any luck, she hopes they'll get to enjoy moments of respite to get to know each other. ]

Busy man with a busy schedule! Buuut I have a good feeling about ya, you look the type of guy who is gonna accomplish many feats in your country..

[ Right on cue, the waiter comes back with the beer she ordered. Yoimiya thanks them for their service before passing him a glass. ]

And if I didn't know any better, I'd say it sounds like you can't get enough of me. So, I take this as a sign I've earned a few more dates out of ya?

[Now that the meat on the grill is really going, he's starting to take off more and more, adding what he takes to keep the line of food coming. He's drinking more sake along with it, and the waiter has to come back with another bottle for him because he's drinking it so quickly...]

At least a few more.

[He sends her a wink, before taking the offered glass and downing that too- like he's just used to drinking alcohol like a maniac.]

But we can figure those out later, since we're still on this one. This place was a great idea, it's really hitting the spot.

[Swooning back and forth, he playfully picks up the discarded chopsticks in his hand and waves the back and forth like he's doing battle, holding them as if the two sticks together formed a sword and he was holding them by the hilt.]

I'll master these, I swear it! Hahahaha, they're much easier to wield like this...

[ At least a few more... score! Yoimiya grins at the wink and immediately downs the glass of beer in a celebratory gulp. Ajax is fun, interesting, and not to mention, drop dead handsome. She certainly feels proud of herself for scoring a few more dates out of this stud muffin.

Now, she's just gotta amp the charm to entice him into her clutches... but for the time being, she's happy to drink and feast with him. Even if that includes drinking the night away because gosh, Yoimiya thought she was a heavy drinker but Ajax is eating her out of house and home. She's never seen someone down shot glass after shot glass of sake then turn around and drink a whole glass of beer. This crazy guy is on a whole new level. ]

Hahaha, goodness Ajax! You just keep downing the alcohol one right after the other. Are all y'all Snezhnayan folks drinking champs?

[ Furthermore, he's picked the chopsticks right back up. Yoimiya is giggling up a storm as she watches him with the sticks in hand, she swears it looks like he's holding them like weapons of mass destruction. ]

Oooh, looks like you're doing it! Maybe you should drink before you use chopsticks.

Hahaha, no I'm nottttt...

[He separates the two chopsticks in his hand, holding one in each hand now instead as he smiles drunkenly back at Yoimiya. With barely any meat in his stomach and a whole lot of sake, it's begun to hit him hard, acting like a happy little kid in a candy store.]

Am I? Let me try again.

[He leans both of his elbows heavily on the table, so that his entire upper body leans towards Yoimiya while he switches his chopsticks to his right hand. Mystically, he manages to hold them properly, pinching them together with little effort as he sways side to side while staring directly at the tip of her nose.

Slowly, he reaches out, and pinches Yoimiya's nose shut with the chopsticks alone, giggling as he does so.]

Hehe, now you have to breathe out of your mouth. Hahahahahaha-!

Yoimiya was just joking when she said he should drink before using chopsticks but good lord, he's... actually holding them properly. She does a double take, unable to comprehend what she's seeing when he suddenly starts pinching them together like a pro. This is the same man from like five minutes ago, right? Right??? He didn't switch himself with a chopsticks expert, right? RIGHT???? ]

Wha...?

[ In the midst of her surprise, she never would have guessed that Ajax would reach over to pinch her nose with chopsticks. ]

Hey! My nose is not a piece of meat! Hahahaha! Oh my goodness Ajax, you are drunk!

[ Thanks to Ajax holding her nose, her voice is beyond nasally. ]

[Her voice sounds so funny to him while he's in this state, trying to hold his giggles back. He squeezes her nose a few times before finally letting go, slumping in his seat as he laughs at her nasally voice and the look on her face when he grabbed her nose. After a moment of a laughing fit, he sits back up and wipes a tear from his eye as he sways back and forth, happy as a clam.]

Ohhhh, hahaha! You...should of seen the look on your faceeee....

[Not denying the drunk allegations, he picks up meat from the plate and drops it on the grill expertly, like he'd been practicing using chopsticks his whole life. The meat sizzles on the grill as he watches it cook, eyes focused on his meat as best he can.]

Now, I'm a hungry drunk. That sake's really good...

[He says as he proceeds to grab his cup to drink more of it. His Snezhnayan body can take it! He definitely won't have a hangover tomorrow.]

HOW?????

HOW DOES ALOCHOL SUDDENLY TURN HIM INTO A CHOPSTICKS PRO???????

Yoimiya can't even react to the last squeezes to her nose due to being so stunned at his sudden expertise with the utensils. Was he messing with her the whole time????? So many questions. Suddenly, she's struck with an idea as she pulls her phone out to begin recording him. There's no way she's gonna let this slide and oh boy, she can't wait to see the look on his sober face. ]

Hehe happy to hear you're enjoying it! How are ya liking the meat? Is the sauce like anything you had in Snezhnaya?

[ Just keep talking, Ajax. She'll keep rolling. ]

[At first, he doesn't notice he's being filmed. The meat cooks quickly, and he picks it up with his chopsticks and dips it into the aforementioned sauce, eating it with the purest satisfaction on his face. Ajax savors every bite, and replaces the meat with more before another small cup of sake goes down his gullet.]

Nooooo! Snezhnaya has nothing quite like this.

[With his face glowing a deep red from the alcohol, there's no argument he's drunk and only getting more drunk as the dinner goes on. Picking up his chopsticks once more, he flips the meat, takes it off, and continues to eat like it's the easiest thing in the world.]

I'm so lucky we ran into each other, I'm having such a great time being out with you~ Hahaha, I bet you thought I'd never be able to use these-!

[Since Yoimiya isn't using her sticks, he reaches and picks up hers too, fitting them to his left hand and dual wields them in front of her. It's now that he finally notices the phone, and his chaotic, drunk, gremlin mind decides to use both pairs to reach over and pinch her cheeks, pulling on them a little just for the sake of entertaining himself...]

Filming me secretly, I see you you rascal...

[ Is this man even a real person? Yoimiya is starting to question whether this is some kind of fever dream. Regardless of his status with chopsticks, she's happy to hear he's having a great time. Maybe it's not quite on the level she's hoping for but it feels like they got closer today and for that, she couldn't be happier with the result. With her phone still in hand, she continues recording him, trying not to make it obvious despite giggling like a mad woman.

But it's not long until the jig is up! Yoimiya obnoxiously gasps when he notices her phone. Before she's even able to make up a bold faced lie, he's got both of their chopsticks, dual wielding them like weapons, and proceeds to pinch her cheeks with them. ]

Hey! I had to get evidence of you being good with chopsticks just in case you didn't believe me when you sobered up. Besides, I figured you could use it as a lesson and...

[ Oooh, she ain't letting him get away with tugging her cheeks no sir. Luckily, there's a spare and through her cheeks getting pulled, she reaches over for the other set, expertly pulling it out of the paper and breaking them apart in one smooth motion. ]

Just because you're getting better at them doesn't mean you've bested me. Bring it on, Ajax!

[ You know what it's time for? A CHOPSTICK FIGHT. With her chopsticks in hand, Yoimiya starts to swat at the two sticks pulling her cheeks. ]

[What was now a friendly interaction between a drunkard and a giggling blonde has turned into a fight. He's giggling to himself as he tugs on her cheeks, not actually caring that she's filming him. In fact, he's kind of hoping she's capturing his good side while doing so, but that all comes crashing down when she challenges him.

One hand gets swatted away, letting go of her cheek while the other holds desperately on as she swats that, too. It's not ruining his fun at all though- if anything, this has made it more fun, and he'll gladly jump at the challenge. Clicking the now free chopstick pair together, he instead goes for an attack to catch the pinky of her hand, as his other hand finally gets knocked away, releasing her face.]

Hehehe, what will you do now? I've got your finger.

[He looks so proud of himself, with his tongue now sticking out on one side of his face in total concentration to make sure he's got a good hold of her pinky.]

[ She just met this man and he's already proven himself to be silly, she should have known he has it in him to be a huge dork while drunk. Gigglig like a madwoman, Yoimiya's merry laugh fills the air of the restaunt, earning them a few strange looks from other customers who evevtually get back to eating, chalking them up to be a silly, young couple in love.

Yoimiya has to commend him. Despite being drunk, she's impressed he managed to come up with a good strategy by grabbing her hand. His grip is sure strong, she's having trouble pulling out. ]

Ooh look at ya! Aren't you the sneaky type? Oh... whatever will I do againt the big, bad Ajax?

[ She feigns looking like a lost cause, fighting to pull her pinky away to no avail. But it's not over yet! Yoimiya makes a bold move of forgoing her chopsticks and uses her free hand to reach over and gently pinch his nose. ]

Hehe, a counterattack of course! I ain't going down without a fight, mister. You got a very punchable nose, hehehehehe.

[ she keeps pinching like she's honking a clown nose... ]

[Has he won? His drunk self can't see the scheming behind her eyes, looking triumphant as he keeps her pinky between his sticks. Beat her fair and square! Just like that! Who knew that the mighty would topple so easily to a captured pinky finger?

But just when he thought he'd won, his nose is suddenly being pinched shut over and over, with Ajax's eyes crossing to look down at her counterattack. How could he not see this coming...]

Hey! Hahaha, that's cheating, you're not using your chopsticks.

[His voice fades in and out of being nasally, depending on the position of her fingers pinching his nose. Grinning, he lets go of her pinky finally to give up the fight with chopsticks, now with a different plan in mind for them.]

I'll be deducting points from you, for your crookery...

[Instead of going for her own nose, he goes for her meat- picking it up off the grill and shamelessly munching on it right in front of her!]

[ Honk. Honk. Honk. Honk. Yoimiya is having the time of her life pinching his nose and listening to usual baritone voice sound nasally. She was already starting to feel tipsy from the alcohol but Ajax's sillness almost seems to make her even more drunk with joy. It's too bad she had to put her phone down, she would have killed to have this shot of him.

At least her phone is still recording his voice... definitely gonna keep that one for the memories. ]

Ha?! Who said anything about chopsticks being our only weapons? Aren't you the guy who said you're adept at many weapons? You should be able to improvise!

[ Speaking of cheating...

Yoimiya is having too much fun pinching his nose over and over again that she doesn't realize he's going for her meat. When she finally notices, it's too late and he's already got a handful in his mouth!!! She gasps, looking back and forth between the grill and the meat he's smacking on. ]

Hey! That's no fair. Grr... if you want to play dirty then so be it.

[ She's prepared to fight fire with fire as she lets go of his nose and grabs one of his portions of meat. She makes a big show of placing it inside her mouth, and slowly, chews on it, making sure to savor the flavor. ]

[Success, he's happily enjoying Yoimiya's meal as he enacts his revenge on her. Looking almost as happy as fighting something to the death, Ajax drinks in that gasp of hers while he swallows the piece of meat without a single regret. He feels like he got away with being the biggest brat when her counterstrike comes, and suddenly the plate with the delicious meat she suggested for him is suddenly down one piece.

He watches on while it goes right into her mouth and she eats it slowly in front of him, just to torture him. Without much logic in his head in this condition, his jaw drops as he protests:]

Hey! Give that back!

[As if there was any way to do that now. Ajax doesn't know what to do but somehow comes down to deciding that the best way to get his food back is to take it- so he reaches and

sticks one finger right in her mouth while she's chewing]

That wasn't yourssssss, Yoimiya! Open your mouth-!

[ If it wasn't for her mouth stuffed full of meat, she'd be gloating like the biggest brat. Pleased that her counterstrike is effective, Yoimiya continues to slowly chew, looking like she's enjoying every last bite of this juicy, decadent meat.

But of course, he isn't going to take this sitting down! She can't believe he's going as far as to stick his hand in her mouth but hey, if it's a battle he wants, a battle he shall recieve. ]

Ahhhhh....!

[ Without an once of hesitation, she proceeds to open her mouth and noms right on his finger. Natually, she refrains from using her teeth but if he's close enough, he might feel something sharp pricking at his skin. ]

[The numbness of the alcohol only gives him enough awareness that something sharp is gnawing on him but he could barely care. All he sees is his finger go right in her mouth with a cute girl chewing on it. He's both confused that his grand plan didn't work here, and glad because there's something adorable about her gnawing on him.

His face goes from offended to a mix of confusion and endearment. He feels like he should be fighting back a little harder but he can't stop watching her be cute.]

Hahaha, does it taste good?

[He asks, letting his head rest in his other hand as he watches her. Ajax is also waiting for the right opportunity...to do something he hasn't even figured out yet.]

[ Truly, Yoimiya only intended to nom on his finger as a silly joke. Since he was aiming for her mouth, she just had to go along with it. However... the urges that she's been trying to ignore have resurfaced in full bloom. It's just a finger but she's so, so close to quelling her craving. The only thing getting in the way of what she truly desires is his pesky mortal flesh.

All she has to do is sink her teeth and break a little bit of skin... ]

Mmm! It's tasty.

[ She says, with her finger still in her mouth. Clearly, her parents never taught her to not speak with food in her mouth. ]

Dare I say... better than the meat. I hope you don't mind if I help myself a little bit.

[ Unbeknownst to Ajax, his finger really does taste better than the juicy meat sitting on the grill. While raw, bloody meat quenched a little bit of her thirst, it's still nothing compared to what a human can provide for her. She's got him right where she wants him and it's so beyond tempting to sink her fangs right into him. Just a little poke, just a little prick will be enough to suffice her appetite.

But even with victory within reach, she doesn't make any sudden moves. There's something about Ajax looking at her with endearment and amusement that tugs at her heartstrings, he looks so cute... and completely unsuspecting of anything while watching her. It almost makes her feel bad. ]

Hehe, I'm surprised you haven't pulled your finger out. Do you really not mind me helping myself?
