[Ajax shoots a balled up, crumpled piece of paper into the basket next to him as he waits for the appointed time.

It's a bit below his station to do so, but on occasion, the CEO of Nizhnii Corp likes to surprise people and pop into interviews or other people's offices. And that's how Nizhnii ended up with such a good reputation, and how he finds it so easy to find good applicants.

Today was no exception, and Ajax plans on making a surprise appearance for this part-timer who's hoping to land a job here. Adjusting his cufflinks on his suit as he walks down the hallway, he makes his way towards the conference room where they generally conduct interviews- and he tells HR that he'd like a little time with the potential hire first. She's already gone through their first interview, and passed it with flying colors, so now he's interested to see who exactly it is who's gotten the interest of their hiring managers. He's timed it so she should be waiting in the conference room already, provided she wasn't late- but he's sure that he wouldn't have to worry about that.

The first thing he does is pop his head in, smiling warmly at the girl waiting patiently for someone to come in to start the interview, before coming in and walking up to her.]

Good morning! Sorry to keep you waiting. I had a small matter to attend to before I was able to come down. I'm Ajax Volkov, it's a pleasure.

( Besides, while she has the tile she gets to have a good look at him in return, take him in entirely. Once he's out she wraps his towel around his waist with ease, securing it well. The moment he leaves to get her something to snack, she goes to the bathroom to at least put her panties on, coming back out, towel still wrapped. )

You don't mind lending me a shirt to sleep in, do you?

[His towel is unceremoniously snatched from his hands, with it now waiting for him spread in front of Lumine, that smile of hers simultaneously teasing him and enchanting him all in the same breath. He steps forward and out of the jacuzzi, taking his place in front of her while she drinks all of him in before wrapping his towel around him. Her hands look so small and cute, just another small part about her that's completely adorable to him. He can't wait until those hands are all over him once again later ;)

But, looks like a little snack and some water is on the menu. He hurries off and fetches a bottle of water from the few that he keeps in his fridge and a plate of a dish he has on hand, filled with small little cake-like pastries that he sets down on the small table he has inside of the bedroom.]

[Turning, he goes into his closet to grab a white button up shirt from it, coming out to hand it to her.]

Feel free to try the apple pastila there. I made them yesterday. It's a little snack I like to have around.

( Once he's wrapped in his towel, she lets him hurry off as she watches him come back with pastries, interest instantly piqued. She almost forgets to grab the shirt, taking it to get herself ready for bed, sir! Once it's on, she begins to button up the shirt before looking at him both impressed and surprised. )

You made them? Wow, I know you said you like to cook, but I didn't think it included baking.

( She placing the towel over her folded arm now that she was semi-dressed, picking up one of the pastries and taking a bite of one. Brows raised at the soft fluffiness of it, eyes almost shine with the sweetness hitting her tongue. )

Wow... These are amazing. If CEO gets too boring for you, you'd do great as a baker.

( She hums in delight, stomach happy with the snack, as she enjoys his hard work. Unable to help herself to grab another pastry, not even touching her water yet, just wanting to enjoy herself some more. )

[The look on Lumine's face is priceless. He doesn't know why, but he had a feeling that she'd like some sweets, and luckily for him he'd baked these the day before. It seems to be a hit with her too, as he leans his head over a little bit to get a good look at those gleaming eyes who've fallen in love with the food.]

( She makes sure not to make too much of a mess of herself, but you can only do so much with powdered sugar. Looking up at him with a warm smile, giving him a nod, with a chuckle at herself. She can say she had a strong sweet tooth, her and Aether didn't get to enjoy sweets as much growing up, so it's always amazing now that they can have it. )

I actually am. I wouldn't be able to have my own bakery, I'd get tempted with everything.

( With expressed permission, she picks the plate up and her bottle of water before going over to sit on the bed. Putting the plate next to her for easy access. With a shake of her head, she wouldn't want to impose and have him bake more this late. )

( Finally taking a swig of her water, leaning against the bed frame, not surprised, but surprised by how comfortable his bed was. Indulging in another pastry, determined in making sure to catch every single crumb under her chin. )

[Goodness, she's practically glowing now, isn't she? Note to self: the way to Lumine's heart is delicious pastries, sweets, and other baked goods as such. There was a plethora of different dishes he could make for her in the future, and he'll have to get his mother's recipe book of all sorts of Snezhnayan goodies for her.

He joins her on the bed, scooting up close to her and reaching across her (on purpose loool) to grab a little pastry for himself before Lumine subconsciously eats them all. Just in case.]

Understanding she may have to pay a price for such a precious, family secret. So, taking another bite of her own pastry, she looks him in the eye. )

( Perhaps, next time she sees his siblings in her shop, she'll ask them what that dessert was. Though she'd have a hard time to describe it. )

( Lumine looks to the plate and wishes there was so much more. She nearly finished it, as she brings one to his mouth to take a bite. [Ajax almost snorts in amusement at her tease, still wearing the same cheeky grin. Her smile couldn't be more obvious, and he gingerly takes a bite out of the pastry that she's lifted up to his mouth, chewing it slowly while keeping his eyes locked on hers. It's hard not to stare, to not get lost in her golden irises, even as he celebrates his win here with her agreement. More dates means more Lumine, and more Lumine makes his heart swell.]

Then, I suppose I can write that recipe down for you.

[And just to be cute, he cranes his neck forward again to take another small bite from the pastry, looking at her with big, endlessly blue eyes that realize that this night has really become something more than just a relaxing little rest. The chemistry swirling between them is so strong that he can barely keep his head above water, and even then, he's already fallen beneath the waves tonight.]

Lumine...tonight has been a wonderful first date. And I'm not just saying that because of the sex.

[His words are earnest, honest, soft. He really couldn't of imagined a better night than tonight, and he's thanking fate for working its magic in their favor.]

These have become a guilty pleasure, that's for sure, but she will continue to eat his desserts until she practices it to perfection. A fairytale turned reality and I'm just as nervous and excited about this new journey together. But it'll be quite fun to unravel together. Also, ( she reaches to pinch the skin of the top of his hand ) that's for the hickey you left in a visible spot.

( She saw it when she went to the bathroom, sir! )

Oh, you do, don't you? Go on, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

( She waves him off before the kiss to her cheek brings a corner of her lip to turn up with the sweetness of it. She'll wait here for him to return back to her side, taking another drink of her water as she watches him go look for whatever he has that would 'help'. )

[As he scurries off of the bed, he can't help but send one mischievous look back to her.]

[Chuckling, he goes into his closet, with a few things being moved and rummaged around in. The sound of boxes shifting echoes from within the closet until Ajax finally reemerges with a piece of fabric in his hand, blue lines in a strange pattern against a white background. He plops himself down on the bed next to her, letting her see it.]

( She gives a shake of her head, unserious frown on her face, though she is intrigued what his plan is. Though once he's coming back to her side, she is looking at the object in his hand. White and blue, once its in her hands however, time almost freezes a soft gasp escapes her. This scarf... Why... Why did it... look familiar...?

Unknowingly stroking the fabric with her thumb familiarity in her hands, only able to stare at it. She almost missed his suggestion of trying it on. There was a weird sense of nostalgia in this scarf. )

It is pretty... Where did you get this?

( Lumine unfolds the fabric and almost in perfect muscle memory, she begins to tie it around her neck. Any other way would not feel right, this scarf can only be worn in one way... And it feels like this scarf belonged to her... Both ends of the scarf now behind her and she stares up at him in surprise. )

I've seen this scarf... In my dreams... How...?
