He thinks of what it's like to be in their shoes right now- losing a good friend, even someone who's like family to them. In the short time that he's been in Vanaranara, they're really all like a small family in this village, and it breaks his heart to see them distraught about one of their own being captured and being subject what might amount to torture. Especially when there's really nothing they can personally do about it. He sighs heavily through his nose, closing his eyes for a moment to think while Yoimiya tries to soothe Aramiya's worries.
