[Both Pantalone and Yoimiya's support here helps to calm him enough to not walk right up to Dottore's desk and deck him right across the face for his words. The brush against his knuckles helps, Regrator's cool demeanor and rational thinking help to put him in a better place. He's always had this temperamental, combative temper, wanting to jump into a fight at a moment's notice, but here he can't do that. He needs help, Yoimiya needs help, and he can't fly off the handle now. He silently thanks Regrator for his interjection, a rare occurrence for him to be thankful towards him, and if it bears fruit he'll have to return the favor.

But what catches him off-guard is what Yoimiya says next.

Tartaglia's head turns in surprise. She'd mentioned something of the sort when she arrived in Snezhnaya, but it was in the form of that cute little wood carving. Aramiya, plip-plod, plip-plod, if he remembers right. She's selling those little creatures out for her own life, he can see it. She doesn't know, doesn't understand what that will mean for those Aranara if the Doctor is able to get a hold of them. She's just shared the method to see them, and everything...but at the same time, he knows deep down that he'd of done the same in her shoes. In fact, he'd do the same in his current shoes. Yoimiya matters way more to him than some forest spirits that only children could see, and he doesn't care all that much about their fate to be honest. It's just too bad, is all.]

You can see them?

[There's a clear intrigue in the Doctor's voice. That admission was more than enough to get him to reconsider his position, especially since all other attempts to capture an Aranara have gone unsuccessful. No one can see them, save for children...but how is it that this Inazuman girl, fated to be killed by the will of some evil spirit, can see them?

He sits back in his chair, putting the quill down and folding his hands over each other against his chest.]

Now you have my attention. I've been working to capture one for my own research for quite some time, young lady. If you're not lying to me...I might be able to help you with your spirit problem. Tartaglia, you didn't tell me you had such a talented partner.

I didn't know, [Childe says slowly, a quiet response displaying his own shock.]

It doesn't matter, the truth is out now- capture an Aranara for me, and I'll give you something that will layer the protection to your mind, and strengthen your abilities. It's still in its experimental stages, so you will be an excellent test subject for it. Do we have a deal?

[Ajax looks over to Yoimiya, unable to respond for the moment- that's something she'll have to decide.]
