A time will come when Yu isn't only a week or two away from death's door and still badly in need of a great deal of rest, his body still too beat up to handle much more than a slow stroll down a hallway. And when that time comes, he'll be able to handle a little burst of adrenaline associated with a racing heart.
But for now, when Yosuke tries to pull away, Yu does allow it, finally letting the kiss break and pressing his forehead to his boyfriend's so he can just breathe. He has a feeling he already knows why Yosuke wanted to stop and what his partner might be worried about. So after a moment of steady breathing to try and calm his pulse (and settle the twisted up knots in his gut - who knew being so thoroughly kissed by the person you're in love with could get to you so much?), Yu pulls back a little and smiles reassuringly. ]
