[ Finally, after what felt like a long nightmarish vacation, the day has come for both of them to return to work. Playing Super Smash Brothers with Ajax and having that downtime to act silly with him was the perfect way to finish off their break. Last night's sleep was the best she'd gotten ever since that harrowing night in the police station.
It's weird to go back to work after everything they've been through but life goes on, Yoimiya has always had a knack for putting her best foot forward and taking on whatever challenges await her with a smile, and today shouldn't be any different. Despite her job boring her to tears, a small part of her feels somewhat relieved to get back to normalcy, going back to her mundane work as a secretary should help take her mind off strange marks, unknown powers, weird voices in their heads, and eldrich monsters coming after them.
Yoimiya made sure to get up bright and early to prepare a bento for not only herself but for Ajax as well. She never would have guessed that the terrifying events on that fateful evening would eventually land her a roommate but hey, she's not complaining. There's no way she can send Ajax back to his horrific apartment, not when a monster is lurking around with knowledge of his home. And well, there's no denying she's become attached to him, he's brightened up her day and she'd feel a little lonely without him around.
