He's happy to see her beam back up at him with a new determination, and that looks more like the Yoimiya he's gotten to know over the course of the last few days or so. Moving forward, they'll need that level of courage and determination, so it's a good start. He nods his head back at her, feeling motivated himself now to conquer whatever challenges they may face, starting with this one.]

He tries to think back to how he felt during the fight, what emotions were streaming through him and his mental state. He remembers feeling like he had to protect her, like he'd do anything to keep her safe. He remembers accepting the power from that creature, and coming into his own as that "king"...]

It could very well be. You were very much in that "queen" headspace during that time, right? If your motivation changes from "I need this" to "Ajax needs me", do you think you could summon the bow again? Or maybe even wield those fire elemental powers you've got in some fashion? Maybe if you think of yourself as a queen again, it'll come easier to you than in a desperate time like yesterday, or the police station?
