[It took a lot to admit to that, share the secret of what's really been bothering him lately. He's pretty good at concealing any negative emotions he generally has, and he's thankful that up until this point, he hasn't made her worry too much. But now the cat's out of the bag. He appreciates her gesture, the feel of her hand on his, comforting him with simple strokes of her thumb, it's nice to know that he's not alone in this and has her unwavering support. He got lucky when he was granted these new powers to have her alongside him....he can't imagine going through this now with anyone else.
