[Trading the box for the towel, he begins to dry himself off, the chill of the air hitting him now that the adrenaline is starting to wear off. It's hard not to notice how the box no longer reacts now that it's in Yoimiya's hands, and he already has a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach about it. His thoughts immediately go in the same direction as hers- that the box is specifically reacting to his touch, and he can already guess why.

Ajax quickly dries off his hair, handing her back the towel and taking the box from her. The inscription glows once again, and his face scrunches up at it. He doesn't know why, but he doesn't like the implications of this- nor how the box resonates within him, somewhere.]

Perhaps it was guarding this. Guarding it specifically from me.

[That's his best guess, anyway. It would explain why it attacked him first and tried to drag him under and what he assumes was its goal to absorb him into its body.]

But I don't really see anywhere to open it. [He turns it over in his hands again, and again and again. It's like a solid cube that won't open...]

I don't get it. Perhaps this is a treasure that doesn't open. But a cube with only an illuminated message of sorts doesn't really do either of us any good. Argh...
