When he'd originally been taught about the marks, and where to look for them, they'd never mentioned that they had the ability to glow on their own. He'd always thought that he had to use that special light to reveal them for what they really were, but this adds a whole new layer to it...and a whole new problem.
That and how his heart was nearly leaping out of his chest just now. The inexplicable fondness and closeness he had with her just now is a feeling that doesn't go away, and he wonders if she feels it too, deep down in her core just as he does. He tries to think about what it was that was going on while they were talking about Inazuma, but the blue light makes itself known to him, making his eyes widen in surprise.]
