[A Fatui Harbinger's work is truly never finished, and Childe finds himself treading across the grass from a dirt path leading into Mikage Furnace, surveying the area.
He'd gotten and read the reports, knowing full well that Lumine and a certain Fontaine engineer named Xavier had repelled a lot of their forces from inside, noting how the barrier has been dispersed completely from the prior reports that had been sent back to Snezhnaya. Electricity still buzzes in the area, the dark energy from the Tatarigami visible around the base of the floating, rocky structure. Forges lay silent, the area still relatively unsafe for any workers to enter due to the monsters still inside, and some Fatui also remain, doing research. All in all, it's an interesting sight to say the least, as the Harbinger strides inside from the northern entrance towards the center of the area.
Anything that pops up to attack are easily dispatched, water blades dissipating from his hands as he skates across the water to stand in the middle of the island there, looking up at the floating metal encasing that holds the power of a fallen god.
It's a pretty remarkable sight, understanding exactly why Dottore would be interested in this place. The research on the energy here is thick even with the repairs done to the furnace, feeling it prickle the hair on his arms. A smug smile crosses his features, his battle senses picking up that he's not here alone, turning around to greet the one who'd followed him inside, probably curious to see what he was doing here and trying to figure out what he's up to.
As he turns, his arms splay out in front of him, giving his friend a warm smile as he greets her.]
Greetings, comrade. Imagine running into you here.
[He's not being sus at all, nope.]
