[Neither of them were spared with the bliss of ignorance. Tartaglia begins to remember it all, down to every minute detail, and his skin begins to raise with goosebumps when he can feel the ghost of Seraphina's claws carving into his chest and forehead. He's not sure what she did to him, but he completely lost himself and became someone else...someone he's never heard of before. Those feelings still sit in his chest though, ones of a love long lost, but surely, these feelings aren't his. They belong to that guy who was in his body, not him...

He can tell too, that Yoimiya is taking this even harder than him. Childe, at least, felt like he was still him despite clearly being this Alnair person, where Yoimiya was being controlled by the entity they've been terrified of. She can reach them anywhere, at anytime, in any way possible. And, he was powerless to stop it, as she'd woven her influence into his mind before he even realized what was happening. Tartaglia had been so eager to kill for her, to get rid of Yoimiya, making him say those awful things. Guilt wracks him again, just like it had in Snezhnaya.]

I'm so sorry, Yoimiya.

[The strain in his voice is evident, he isn't trying to hide how horrible he feels. An apology doesn't feel like enough...nothing feels like is enough to rectify his behavior, even if it wasn't his fault. If only he were stronger...]
