An awkward silence falls over everyone after the toast is offered by the knight. Aether knows all too well how much Childe hates this entire situation and that this is only the beginning. Elise and her family seem confused, Aether's father just continues to stare coldly.
Eventually, a long sigh breaks the silence as Aether abruptly takes a hold of his own goblet and stands up (maybe also to escape Childe's hold; his heart can't take too much of the other's man physical contact, his warmth).
